Walyarra successfully delivered the Willare Levee Throat Protection works on the Great Northern Highway for Main Roads Western Australia, supporting critical flood protection and road infrastructure in the Kimberley region.

The scope of works included the excavation, placement, pouring, and finishing of concrete across six designated throat protection locations, ensuring long-term durability, structural integrity, and improved safety during flood events.

Operating in a live highway and remote Kimberley environment, Walyarra maintained a strong focus on work health and safety, quality control, and efficient delivery, completing the project on time and in accordance with MRWA specifications. This project further demonstrates Walyarra’s capability in Kimberley concrete works, highway infrastructure, and flood mitigation projects.
